A new study from John A. Tauras, Jidong Huang and Frank J. Chaloupka about the differential SES, race/ethnicity, and gender impact of cigarette prices and smoke-free laws on youth smoking: higher cigarette prices reduce smoking faster among Blacks, Hispanics, females, and low SES youth subpopulations and smoke-free laws have a larger impact on youth smoking in high SES and male subpopulations.
